Skála Sikaminéas slow down, sit down & relax

Skála Sikaminéas is a beautiful, small and charming village in the North of Lesbos. If you drink some wine, the name gets easier to pronounce.

In Sikaminéas not much is going on. There's a couple of elderly dudes raising a duck and two geese. All of them are friends.

I assume there are quite some fishermen, because there's fresh fish on the menus and fishingboats in the harbour. However, I haven't seen anyone of them at work. There are nice shops and restaurants. You should really try the Zucchini Flowers with feta cheese! There's a cat that looks like the Führer and calamaris are blowing in the wind. At the end of the harbour you will find a tropical bar with a big parrot. They serve a brilliant tuna sandwich.

Skála Sikaminéas

Skala Sikamineas is definitely worth a visit. Time stands still and so do you. You slow down, sit down, eat, drink and enjoy the view.

So, when you´re on a holiday in Molyvos, Petra or Anaxos, just hop on your scooter or take your car. It´s a forty minute drive, but when you are there you can relax. You won´t regret it!
